Terms and conditions

These terms cover this website and the EKAM by Kiran and KJI Bag Details apps, run by Kiran Jewels India (“we”). By using them you agree to these terms.

The website

The website describes our business. Figures and descriptions on it are given in good faith and may change; they are not an offer, a quotation or a contract. Orders, prices and delivery are agreed separately in writing.

Who may use the apps

EKAM by Kiran is for current Kiran Jewels India employees, and KJI Bag Details is for workshop staff. Accounts are issued by us. Using the apps does not change the terms of your employment, which remain those in your appointment letter and our HR policies.

Your account

• Keep your password to yourself and change it when the app asks you to on first sign-in.
• Do not sign in as someone else or let anyone else use your account.
• Tell HR or IT straight away if you think someone else has used your account or your phone is lost.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false attendance, leave or gate-pass information;
• copy, share or publish other people’s data, or our designs, prices or bag details, outside work;
• try to get round security, reverse-engineer the apps or overload our servers.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and misuse may also be handled under our HR policies.

What the apps show

The apps show records held by HR, payroll and production. If something looks wrong, tell HR; the official record is the one in our systems, not the copy on your screen. A leave or gate pass is valid only once it shows as approved.

Ownership

The website, the apps, the Kiran Jewels name and marks, and the designs and data they show belong to us or the Kiran Group. You may use them only for their intended purpose.

Availability and liability

We try to keep the website and apps running but do not promise they will always be available or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. To close your app account, see delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
